Dinosaur Egg Hunt

Head out on a prehistoric adventure around Waterloo Park this Easter to find 10 Extraordinary Extinct™ eggs, then have fun making your own dinosaur craft to take home!

Designed by award-winning authors and illustrator Jill Michelle Smith and Jennifer Watson, this cracking event is ideal for families with children of all ages. There is no charge for accompanying adults. Please pre-book your tickets via the event link, then simply arrive at your chosen start time between 10am and 2pm to begin. Please allow at least 30 minutes to complete the trail.

An excellent selection of refreshments are available from The Pavilion Cafe. There is also a small car park on site and roadside parking available.

A note for returning explorers: the trail features different dinosaurs and a unique craft activity for 2026, so that if you joined us last year, you can have fun completing a new egg-citing challenge!
