Wilder Communities – History, wildlife and conservation of Hoe Common

12 July @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Organiser: Norfolk Wildlife Trust Free

Step into a landscape where history and nature intertwine. Once a 19th-century enclosure and a vital fuel allotment for the poor, it bears the marks of WWI military trenches and stands with a boundary of ancient oaks.

Today, this remarkable site is a bio-diverse acid heathland, home to rare wildlife and the celebrated Hoe Bird Walk.

Join us to explore its past, celebrate its wildlife, and learn why conserving this unique habitat matters for the future.
