Yellow-horned poppy, sea campion, bird’s foot trefoil, curled dock, buck’s horn plantain. Amongst the flints of Cley’s shingle ridge are many colourful wild flowers adapted to survive in an extraordinary windswept world of salt-spray, summer droughts, winter storms and shifting shingle. Explore this distinctive habitat and its plants with a walk along the edge of Norfolk. Join local naturalist and author David North for a 4km walk and learn to identify 15 wildflowers adapted to survive and thrive in this apparently hostile habitat.
