A Sunday Afternoon Just for You

Sometimes the best way to spend a Sunday is to slow down.

To switch off your phone, escape the endless to-do list and spend a couple of hours surrounded by beautiful things, good conversation and a little creativity.

I’ve teamed up with the wonderful Jody Ellen Textiles to create a relaxed, immersive afternoon inspired by the rich colours and decorative beauty of antique Indian furniture.

While you browse Jody’s carefully curated collection of antique Indian furniture, textiles and treasures, I’ll guide you in creating your own decorative wooden panel, inspired by the beautiful pieces surrounding us.

Using simple stencils and decorative painting techniques, you’ll create your own unique artwork to take home. No experience is needed—just come as you are and enjoy the process.

How the day works

This is an Open Studio event.

If you’d like to guarantee yourself a place at the painting table, pre-booking is recommended to guarantee your place, but if we have space, you’re very welcome to drop in on the day.

Please choose your preferred arrival time when booking. Your painting experience lasts approximately two hours. You’re welcome to stay, browse and enjoy the pop-up until 5pm.

Drop in anytime between 12pm and 3pm to begin your painting.

The experience takes approximately 2 hours, so the final painting session will begin at 3pm.

We’ll remain open until 5pm, giving everyone plenty of time to finish their artwork, browse the antiques and enjoy the atmosphere.
