In a year when they’ve delivered over 3,000 positive outcomes to local children, young people and families, The Benjamin Foundation look ahead to hosting the Butterfly Ball this September at Mercure Norwich Hotel. Money raised from this event goes towards supporting the charity’s Boom! Young Carers Service.
Providing positive activities for young people with limited opportunities, the charity’s young carer service supports over 350 young people and families across Norfolk. “The value of Boom! comes from giving young people the opportunity to interact and make friends in a safe and encouraging environment” says Alice, Young Carer Development Manager, “and giving them a break from day-to-day demands they might have at home.”
Delivering a true partnership giving reliability and security to our systems, Osiris IT has also committed their support by sponsoring the Butterfly Ball allowing The Benjamin Foundation to ensure that Boom! Young Carers receive more support from proceeds raised.

In anticipation of the event, CEO of The Benjamin Foundation, Kirsty Pitcher, says “the Butterfly Ball provides us the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the charity across the past 30 years, celebrating alongside our wonderful community of supporters.”
The event will take place on Friday 26th September at Mercure Norwich Hotel. Inviting guests to dress to impress, a three course meal is included in the ticket price, along with entertainment throughout the night.
