SUMMARY:Lend Me A Tenor
DESCRIPTION:Prepare for an evening of operatic mayhem\, mistaken identities\, and laugh-out-loud chaos in Lend Me a Tenor\, Ken Ludwig’s beloved screwball farce that hits all the high notes of classic comedy. Set in September 1934\, the action unfolds backstage at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company on the most important night of its season. World-famous tenor Tito Merelli — “Il Stupendo” himself — is scheduled to star in Pagliacci\, and General Manager Henry Saunders is determined that nothing goes wrong.\nOf course\, everything does.\nWhat follows is a whirlwind of slamming doors\, frantic disguises\, romantic entanglements\, and near-misses. Add an ambitious diva\, a flirtatious opera guild chairwoman\, a giddy girlfriend\, and a meddling bellhop\, and the result is pure theatrical pandemonium.\nLend Me a Tenor is a fast-paced\, riotous comedy guaranteed to leave audiences breathless with laughter.

SUMMARY:Raptors of Norfolk - including owls
DESCRIPTION:Raptors\, or ‘birds of prey’ are one of the most charismatic and exciting groups of birds. \nTen species have bred in recent years in Norfolk\, with another four regular winter visitors and another 3 scarce but regular migrants\, it is an exciting county to see these birds. \nThis workshop will look at the past history and present status of these birds\, where they might be seen and how to recognise them. \nAt NWT Cley Marshes at this time of the season we are likely to see a range of these birds\, including – we would hope- marsh harriers entertaining with ‘sky-dancing’. \nThis will also introduce the majestic owl species found here too.

SUMMARY:An Afternoon with Ross Greenwood
DESCRIPTION:An Afternoon with Ross Greenwood – proudly in collaboration with Creative Sheringham. \nBritish crime author Ross Greenwood is acclaimed for gritty\, realistic thrillers like the DI John Barton series. Drawing on his background as a prison officer and magistrate\, he provides an unflinching look at the criminal underworld. Greenwood’s work features fast-paced plots\, psychological depth\, and complex moral dilemmas. By blending sharp dialogue with unexpected twists\, he explores the darker side of human nature within tense\, suspenseful narratives that keep readers on edge. \nJoin us at Sheringham Little Theatre for an afternoon with author of Death on the Norfolk Express\, Ross Greenwood. The afternoon will begin with a 45-minute discussion hosted on stage\, then will open to audience questions in an interactive Q&A session. The event will conclude with a book signing in the auditorium\, with Ross’ new book available to purchase. \nLearn more about Ross Greenwood’s brand new book\, Death on the Norfolk Express: When a man is found dead on a Sheringham steam train\, the tranquil nostalgia of the North Norfolk Railway is shattered. To add to the disquiet\, a second man is spotted bound to the tracks outside Weybourne. A pattern of fear is emerging on the Poppy Line\, but all roads lead back to the Georgian town of Holt.

SUMMARY:An Afternoon with J M Dalgliesh
DESCRIPTION:An Afternoon with J M Dalgliesh Proudly in collaboration with Creative Sheringham \nOne of Britain’s most-read crime writers comes to Sheringham’s Little Theatre on Saturday 23rd May — and this is an event not to be missed. J M Dalgliesh is an internationally bestselling author whose atmospheric police procedurals have sold over 4.6 million copies worldwide\, been translated into multiple languages\, and topped the Amazon charts in the UK\, US\, Canada and Australia. Listed among the ten most-read authors on Amazon UK over the past decade\, his Hidden Norfolk\, Misty Isle and Dark Yorkshire series have accumulated over 450\,000 reader reviews — a testament to one of the most loyal and passionate readerships in British crime fiction. \nMarch 2026 brought major news: Transworld\, an imprint of Penguin Random House\, has acquired 28 of Jason’s titles along with eight new frontlist books — including an eagerly anticipated new series set in Orkney\, due in January 2027. In a further sign of the extraordinary ambition behind this deal\, Transworld has also acquired film and television rights to both the Misty Isle and the forthcoming Orkney series\, with his wider work already in development for the screen by an award-winning production team. \nBorn on the south coast of England\, Jason has lived across rural England and Scotland and now calls Norfolk home\, where he can often be found walking his oversized dog along the north Norfolk coast. Join us on 23rd May for what promises to be a warm\, witty and fascinating afternoon with a writer who\, in his own words\, is “only just getting started.” \nThe event will begin with a 45-minute discussion hosted on stage then will open to audience questions in an interactive Q&A session. The event will conclude with a book signing
