As a professional contemporary dance instructor I will guide you through easy-to-follow movements that get us all moving across the floor together (think folk dance) as we move towards more rhythmic and dynamic moves (think freeflow clubbing)\, ensuring you have a great time while learning new moves and connecting with yourself and others. There is also space to rest and observe from the sidelines\, if needed. \nDon’t miss out on this opportunity to dance with others in a safe and inclusive space\, enjoying the great vibes of dancing in the golden light of the change of season in the beautiful and ornate Orangery\, a grade II listed building\, at the new Carrow House in Norwich. The class is led by Carrow House member and American-British dance specialist and teacher Sara Wookey. We uphold a friendly\, non-competitive and inclusive dance environment where everyone can find their own pace and experience the joy of dancing alone and with a group.

A selection of sips and snacks will also be available to purchase to keep shoppers fuelled during the day. \nAdding to the atmosphere\, live music will be performed throughout the day by Holman\, Hilts & Delaney\, bringing the sound of southern soul infused with rock and roll to the event. There will also be a range of family-friendly activities to enjoy\, including tote bag printing and free glitter face painting\, with activities partly delivered by the Norfolk Museums Service. \nStay in the loop with updates on the Discover King’s Lynn social media pages and app! \nThis project was part funded by the Love Your Town scheme in conjunction with Norfolk County Council and Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

Formerly a Victorian general store\, the space is now home to a wide range of visual\, written & performing artistic activities which are overseen by owners Sue Moore & Clio Burroughs with Gallery Consultant\, Lorraine Pajak. \nOur aim is to create as welcoming a space as we can\, which offers a wide range of artistic activities & experiences to compliment the already thriving artistic community in Hingham. \nA co-operative of six local artists (Alison Dickson\, Chrissy Bolton\, Bob Kidd\, Julie Langdon\, Patricia Osborn & Sam Rafter)\, the Cleymore Motley Art Crew\, meet together in the gallery space once a week to create\, discuss\, support\, inspire & learn from each other. Each artist has their own unique style\, focus & expertise. Their work will form the inaugural exhibition in the Gallery and will celebrates their coming together The Old Shop\, giving them a creative home & allowing us to showcase local talent as well as the best of Norfolk.
