SUMMARY:Co.next – Speak with Belief – Public Speaking\, Presence and Owning the Room with Joe Arkley
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re pitching an idea\, leading a meeting\, networking with confidence or presenting to a room full of people\, the ability to communicate well is one of the most valuable skills you’ll ever develop. \nJoin Co.next for an inspiring and interactive workshop with Joe Arkley\, professional actor whose career has taken him from extensive stage work with the Royal Shakespeare Company to villainous turns on screen in BBC dramas including The Capture and Wreck. \nDrawing on years of performing under pressure\, Joe will share practical techniques that anyone can use to become a more connected\, engaging\, and authentic communicator. \nThis is not about becoming an actor. Most speaking training asks people to learn a system. Joe asks you to use what you already have. Public speaking shouldn’t be about becoming something you’re not — it’s about leaning deeper into who you already are. When we do that\, we stop performing and start connecting. The connection is what people remember and take away with them. \nWhether you’re preparing for interviews\, pitching ideas\, leading meetings or simply wanting to feel more confident speaking up at work\, you’ll leave with practical techniques you can start using immediately. \n\nDuring This Workshop You’ll Explore \n\nPractical techniques to manage nerves and channel adrenaline rather than fight it.\nBreath and voice — warming up your instrument and discovering the full range of what your voice can do.\nBody language and presence — bringing awareness to your non-verbal communication and learning when to magnify or adjust it.\nHow to connect with an audience rather than trying to be perfect.\nThe art of listening — how deeper listening makes you a more powerful communicator and collaborator.\nTips you can immediately apply to presentations\, networking and everyday workplace conversations.\n\nStorytelling and speech structure — explored further in one-to-one and Masterclass sessions with Joe.

SUMMARY:Co.next Workshop: Gemma Crane – Notice Your Thoughts Before They Run You
DESCRIPTION:What if the biggest thing holding you back isn’t your experience\, your qualifications\, or your circumstances – but the thoughts running through your mind every day? \nIn this thought-provoking and practical co.next workshop\, mindset and leadership coach Gemma Crane will explore how our internal dialogue shapes our confidence\, decisions\, relationships and opportunities\, often without us even realising it. \nMany of us carry beliefs\, assumptions and thought patterns that were formed years ago and have quietly influenced how we show up in our careers and lives ever since. This session is all about learning how to recognise those thoughts\, challenge them\, and take back control. \nYou’ll discover: \n• Why self-awareness is the foundation of personal growth \n• How to identify unhelpful thought patterns in real time \n• The impact your mindset has on your confidence and decision-making \n• Practical techniques to create more empowering habits of thinking \n• Simple tools you can start using immediately \nThis workshop also serves as an introduction to Gemma’s transformational six-week programme\, Reclaim Your Power\, giving attendees a taste of the mindset principles that have helped individuals build confidence\, create meaningful change and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. \nWhether you’re at the start of your career\, navigating change\, or simply looking to better understand yourself\, this session will leave you with a new perspective on the stories you tell yourself—and the power you have to rewrite them. \nYou can’t change what you don’t notice. This is where it starts.
