DESCRIPTION:Uncover the story behind our artisan English wines from between the rows themselves on an exclusive vineyard tour led by Norfolk’s original winemaker\, John Hemmant and his team who work with him in the winery and on the vineyard. \nWeekly tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:00 am until 13:00 pm and also from 15:00 to 17:00. Please book in advance to guarantee a place \nThe tour starts with a walk around the vines learning about pruning techniques\, the different grape varieties that we grow and management of the vines on our sustainable vineyard. Next the tour moves to the winery where you will hear some of the secrets of winemaking and depending on the time of the year you may even get to sample some wine directly from the vat. Finally you will enjoy a wine tasting of up to 5 wines – both still and sparkling from grapes grown on our vineyard and named after the birds that visit us. \nIf you are on a morning tour why not add lunch after your tour – or if visiting us in the afternoon book lunch before your tour. We also offer picnics amongst the vines. All lunches and picnics need to be booked in advance please. \nWell behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. DESCRIPTION:David Clayton is coming up to fifty years in local broadcasting. In that time he’s been on local radio\, national radio and regional television. Now he works with journalism students who will be the next generation of broadcasters.\nBorn in Yorkshire\, David moved to Gorleston-on-Sea in 1963 (his favourite place in Norfolk!)\, so he’s very nearly a local now! He fell into being a disc-jockey\, and was plying his trade round the clubs and dance halls of Norfolk back in the disco days of the 1970s. He also began broadcasting on Hospital Radio Norwch and\, when the BBC was looking to launch Radio Norfolk in 1980\, he persuaded them to give him a chance. The rest\, as they say\, is history!\nTickets: £7.50 – CASH on the door please.\nThe church cafe will be open for refreshments.

SUMMARY:Cromer Art Walks
DESCRIPTION:You will be guided by volunteers from Cromer Artspace who will take you on a journey through the history of art\, highlighting some of the stories and techniques behind each piece. From the iconic works of Landseer and Reynolds\, to lesser-known but equally impressive works\, these art walks will give you a new appreciation for the breadth and depth of the National Galleries of Scotland’s collection. \nEach walk lasts around 90 minutes\, covering about 2 miles with regular stops. We make every effort to guide safely but all participants must note that care should be taken along streets with passing traffic and pedestrians. \nNumbers are limited to 10 per walk. All walks will be on paved surfaces\, and there may be some steep gradients.

DESCRIPTION:Canada’s leading contemporary dance company make their highly anticipated return\, taking on Crystal Pite and Johan Inger.Vancouver-based Ballet BC (British Columbia) wowed audiences and critics on their debut visit to the UK in 2018 with their “superb\, gorgeous energy” [The i]\, with standing ovations at every venue inspired by the “joyous technical expertise of this excellent company” [The Guardian]. \nIn PASSING\, legendary Swedish choreographer and longtime Ballet BC collaborator Johan Inger traverses a vast landscape of human emotion\, taking audiences on an epic\, theatrical\, often touching ride. Inspired by climate catastrophe\, PASSING explores relationships\, from the intimate to the societal. Set to an original score by Amos Ben-Tal with selections from Erik Enocksson and Louis T. Hardin (aka Moondog)\, the sonic journey is as beautifully complex and captivating as the movement language throughout. \nOriginally created for Nederlands Dans Theater in 2008 and reimagined for Ballet BC\, Frontier\, by four-time Olivier award-winning Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite will take the stage in spring 2025. Featuring 24 dancers\, the visionary\, enigmatic Frontier examines the unknown – the characterization of dark matter\, the personification of shadows. “As a creator\, I find a pleasing parallel between what we don’t know about the universe\, and what we don’t know about consciousness” says Pite. “Creation for me is about venturing into unknown territory and being in a generative relationship with doubt.”
