There is also space to rest and observe from the sidelines\, if needed. \nDon’t miss out on this opportunity to dance with others in a safe and inclusive space\, enjoying the great vibes of dancing in the golden light of the change of season in the beautiful and ornate Orangery\, a grade II listed building\, at the new Carrow House in Norwich. We appear to create a certain unease in the mainstream\, as our lives and existence are politicised and confrontational.\nSt Margaret’s Gallery\nWednesday 4 to Saturday 14 February 2026\nSt Margaret’s Church\, St Benedicts Street\, Norwich NR2 4TU\nOpen daily\nMonday – Fridays 11-5\nSaturday 10 – 5\nSundays 12 – 4\nEveryone Welcome \nVisibility itself becomes an art of defiance.\nSurface Tension wants to present art that thrives on the conflict of desire\, where resistance meets conformity. We play with the surface of visibility\, we change our skin with tattoos and makeup and clothing\, and most certainly\, attitude. This play can protect\, but also expose a vulnerability\, certainly a tension to explore. On the surface\, but with an inner depth.\nArt as argument\, as adornment\, as a power to be authentic. The Queer aesthetic\, turning the fragile into force.\nThis exhibition aims to amplify the voices of artists whose work defies simple categorisation\, embracing expressions of Queerness that reflect lived experiences across intersections of race\, gender identity\, diversity\, ability and cultural backgrounds.\nWe are very grateful for the support form Norwich University of the Arts and St Margaret’s Gallery to make this exhibition possible

As well as picking up the Joke of the Fringe Award alongside Danny Ward\, he also won the Victoria Wood Panel Prize at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards\, and won the Comic’s Comic of the year in 2022. \nMark has previously appeared in ITV’s Out There\, Mock The Week\, BBC Radio 4Extra Stands Up\, a Channel 4 pilot starring alongside Bridget Christie\, as well as BBC3’s One For The Road.
