DESCRIPTION:Join us for our very first retro-inspired event on 9 May\, 10am – 3pm\, at the Saturday Market Place! \nExplore a vibrant mix of stalls\, each offering one-of-a-kind finds\, from vinyl records\, to collectables\, unique fashion\, vintage homewares and more. Whether you’re a dedicated retro enthusiast or simply searching for something a little different\, there will be plenty to discover. A selection of sips and snacks will also be available to purchase to keep shoppers fuelled during the day. \nAdding to the atmosphere\, live music will be performed throughout the day by Holman\, Hilts & Delaney\, bringing the sound of southern soul infused with rock and roll to the event. There will also be a range of family-friendly activities to enjoy\, including tote bag printing and free glitter face painting\, with activities partly delivered by the Norfolk Museums Service. \nStay in the loop with updates on the Discover King’s Lynn social media pages and app! \nThis project was part funded by the Love Your Town scheme in conjunction with Norfolk County Council and Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

SUMMARY:A Creative Home FREE Art Exhibition: Cleymore Motley Art Crew at The Old Shop Pop Up Gallery\, Hingham
DESCRIPTION:The Old Shop Pop Up Gallery is a creative space in the centre of the Historic Market Town of Hingham\, Norfolk. Formerly a Victorian general store\, the space is now home to a wide range of visual\, written & performing artistic activities which are overseen by owners Sue Moore & Clio Burroughs with Gallery Consultant\, Lorraine Pajak. \nOur aim is to create as welcoming a space as we can\, which offers a wide range of artistic activities & experiences to compliment the already thriving artistic community in Hingham. \nA co-operative of six local artists (Alison Dickson\, Chrissy Bolton\, Bob Kidd\, Julie Langdon\, Patricia Osborn & Sam Rafter)\, the Cleymore Motley Art Crew\, meet together in the gallery space once a week to create\, discuss\, support\, inspire & learn from each other. Each artist has their own unique style\, focus & expertise. Their work will form the inaugural exhibition in the Gallery and will celebrates their coming together The Old Shop\, giving them a creative home & allowing us to showcase local talent as well as the best of Norfolk.
