DESCRIPTION:Spend the morning at Peter Beales and learn the basics of seed sowing with our horticultural expert\, Dawn.\nIn this free\, hour-long course\, Dawn will cover everything you need to know about growing your own plants from a seed\, including how different sizes of seed need planting differently\, the best compost and containers to plant them in and how to nurture your plant in the weeks that follow. \nThen in the afternoon Dawn will be on hand in the garden centre to answer any of your questions about sowing your own seeds and advise on any issues or concerns you may be having. \nThis course is perfect for any gardeners who are new to growing plants from a seed or who need a reminder on propagation\, and it is free to attend in our garden centre. \nThis is a free session as part of our January Plant Education series; no payment is required.

DESCRIPTION:Once a month\, under 5s and their families are invited to explore Lynn Museum with a variety of activities\, trails\, songs\, games and stories. These sessions have a different theme each month\, and are specially designed for early years learning\, allowing young children the chance to explore the museum in their own way. \nIn January we will be using our fairground collection as a springboard for exploring colour! \n50p per child\, accompanying adults free. Booking is recommended.
