DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to explore one of Norwich’s hidden treasures in support of The Magdalene Group \nThe Magdalene Group is delighted to welcome you to a special open‑garden event on Sunday 31 May\, 1:00pm-4:30pm\, at the historic Bishop’s House\, by kind permission of the Bishop of Norwich\, The Rt Revd Graham Usher\, and Mrs Rachel Usher. This rare opportunity invites visitors to discover one of Norwich’s most enchanting private gardens while helping to support The Magdalene Group’s vital work with women and young people on violence against women and girls (VAWG) who are affected by abuse\, violence\, coercion and exploitation. \nWhat to Expect on the Day\nThis family‑friendly charity event offers a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon surrounded by nature. Visitors can indulge in refreshments and delicious cakes\, enjoy live music (performer to be announced)\, and take part in a variety of gentle activities. Children can explore a dedicated treasure trail and take part in traditional garden games\, all set within the beautiful and historic grounds of Bishop’s House Garden. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful day out\, a chance to appreciate Norwich’s hidden green spaces\, or an opportunity to support a local charity\, this event promises something for everyone. \nOpening Times\nGates will be open from 1:00pm to 4:30pm\, with last entry at 4:00pm. Please note that only assistance dogs are permitted on site. \nBooking Information\nTickets are priced at £5 per adult\, with free entry for under‑16s (accompanied by a paying adult) and free admission for wheelchair users.
