DESCRIPTION:Castle Quarter in Norwich is bringing a brand-new\, free role-play experience to the centre for young children in partnership with a local charity\, Get Me Out The Four Walls. \nKids Kingdom\, an interactive play station\, will be open from Monday 20 to Friday 31 July\, located in White Lion Square\, on level one\, outside Boots. \nDesigned especially for younger visitors\, the experience offers a dedicated space where children can dress up\, role-play\, and let their imaginations run free. \nSet within a miniature interactive city\, Kids Kingdom encourages creativity\, teamwork and learning through play. Children can explore real-world scenarios and imagine what they might like to be when they grow up\, all while having fun and making new friends. \nAcross eight themed stations\, children can take on different roles\, from cooking in a cafe to working in a doctor’s surgery or running their own shop. \nCastle Quarter has partnered with local Norwich-based charity Get Me Out The Four Walls to bring the experience to life. The charity provides support and guidance to parents and carers across Norfolk who may be experiencing isolation. \nKids Kingdom will be open daily from 10am to 4pm. DESCRIPTION:Antonia Clare Studio & Gallery\, in Chapel Yard\, Holt is delighted to present an exhibition of work by contemporary figurative artist Judy Logan\, from 21 July – 29 August. \nJudy has a longstanding connection with Holt. Her distinctive crow artworks have previously been selected for the Holt Festival Art exhibitions\, and one was acquired by the late Sir John Hurt\, who affectionately nicknamed her ‘CrowGirl’. \nWorking from her studio in Cambridge\, Judy creates expressive paintings and limited-edition etchings in which mischievous crows and powerful female figures emerge through rich colour and sculptural form. Gallery owner\, and fellow artist\, Antonia Clare sees the work – particularly the crows – as a natural fit for the landscape and atmosphere of North Norfolk. \nFrom Goddesses to Mighty Crows will include paintings\, etchings and selected events where Judy will discuss her inspiration and creative process.
