Michael Green is well known locally for his writing and talks, particularly about birds and the music they have inspired. Here, he will focus on the personalities, myths and songs of two very different birds with a variety of recordings which illustrate their appeal to a wide range of composers and musicians across the musical spectrum, sometimes bringing the two birds together.
