Part two: The Flesh

the emotional colours and the things you didn’t even know you knew about
the story.
In this session you will learn:
The importance of the six senses;
Walking the story into the environment and building the characters;

Suzanne Arnold Storyweaver has over 30 years of experience performing
and running workshops in storytelling, story-making and drama. She is a
professional storyteller and has hosted the Tales and Ales adult storytelling
club at the Locks Inn in Geldeston for 13 years.
Here is a glowing testimonial from a student on the last course:
“I have just finished Suzanne Arnold ‘s beginner’s storytelling course “Flesh
and Bones”. It was such an insightful 2 part process with a wonderful group
of people. Suzanne lead the way for us to explore different aspects of what it
means to be a storyteller, how to strip back to the bones, then how to
embody the story and add the “Flesh”, the details that paint the picture. As
well as exploring things like gestures, facial expressions, breath work, voice,
body posture. With the opportunity to tell our chosen stories to a small group
of people which was terrifying but also a fantastic way to break the ice of
telling my first story.
Suzanne held the space so beautifully and her energy and passion inspired
us to get out of our comfort zones and fully engage with the stories and the
group. It was a delicious and nourishing experience! Thank you Suzanne
